It is a place where some of my thoughts end up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am also an English barrister, and door tenant at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trinitychambers.co.uk\/\">Trinity Chambers<\/a> in Newcastle, England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I qualified as a solicitor in England in 2010 at a national insurance practice and moved to what became a listed international firm. In 2018 I was Called to the Bar by Middle Temple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My interests have been in litigation from the outset and I enjoy the technical challenges involved in litigation and resolving disputes. As such a lot of my law related posts relate to issues I encounter or hear of and am keen to explore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a born and bred geek I have been interested in the intersection of law and developing technology and may occasionally essay a comment on this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When not wrestling with such legal concepts I can be found climbing up, diving or occasionally camping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you want to get in touch I am <a href=\"mailto:chris@chrishegarty.com\">chris@chrishegarty.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am an Australian lawyer &#8211; this site is not related to my work in Australia and is not meant to constitute advertising or advice.
